Bavaria Yachts – Perfectly trimmed for Interboot and the Southampton Boat Show

Giebelstadt/Germany (Bavaria) - Three world premieres and the announcement of a new sailing yacht for 2017 have already yielded a substantial number of additional orders for BAVARIA YACHTS at recent Cannes Yachting Festival.

With a wide range of new models BAVARIA YACHTS will be exhibiting at Interboot in Friedrichshafen and Southampton Boat Show. The new BAVARIA E40 SEDAN motor yacht and the fast CRUISER 34 sailing yacht will be exhibited on Lake Constance for the first time at a German exhibition. In Southampton, the BAVARIA R40 FLY and BAVARIA E40 SEDAN motor yachts, which have already been highly acclaimed in the international press, will go on show in England for the first time. This year both shows take place at the same time from 17th to 25th September.

The Integration of Nautitech Catamarans into Bavaria Yachtbau GmbH is now complete

Giebelstadt/Germany (Bavaria) - The integration process of Nautitech Catamarans into Bavaria Yachtbau GmbH was completed at the beginning of the 2016/17 new fiscal year. As planned, Nautitech’s founder, Bruno Voisard, handed over the leadership of the successful catamaran boatyard to the management of Bavaria Yachtbau GmbH.

In a joint statement, both parties expressed their satisfaction with the excellent cooperation that took place during the purchase and hand over process. Lutz Henkel, CEO of Bavaria Yachtbau GmbH, thanked Bruno Voisard personally for his contribution to the Nautitech brand over the past 15 years.

Together with a new 8-liter engine launched for the marine commercial market, the latest Volvo Penta IPS package reconfirms Volvo Penta as a pioneer in the marine industry. For customers, this means an even greater choice of high performance vessels in which to use the revolutionary IPS.“It is all about propulsion efficiency and productivity for the yards, designers and operators. This is a fantastic move for us and our customers,” says Jakob Ursby, strategy manager for Volvo Penta’s Marine Commercial sector. “It means that many more applications will be able to benefit from the advantages of using this system.”

Stefan Klaassen new Head of Sales and After Sales at Bavaria Yachtbau

Giebelstatd/Germany (Bavaria Yachts) - Stefan Klaassen has taken over the role as new Head of Sales and After Sales at Bavaria Yachtbau with effect 1st July 2016. Mr. Klaassen takes the lead of BAVARIA's sales team and will be responsible for the entire sales of BAVARIA YACHTS sail, power boats and catamarans.

Stefan Klaassen previously worked as International Sales Manager EMEA at Navico and was successfully leading the boat builder segment, where he also developed the international dealer and distributor network. The 37-year-old gathered many years of experience in the marine industry and in different companies at management level.

With this recruit Bavaria Yachtbau completes its management team for further growth and is well positioned for its future sales targets.

Njord Offshore takes delivery of two more crew transfer vessels with Volvo Penta IPS900 Quad



Gotenburg (Volvo Penta) - Njord Offshore’s two latest 26m offshore crew vessels (24 pax), equipped with Volvo Penta’s IPS900 Quad drives, are now ready for heavy-duty use in the North Sea.

After a successful year operating four new 26m crew transfer vessels (CTVs) fitted with Volvo Penta’s IPS900 Quad drives, Njord Offshore – which transports crew to and from offshore windfarms – has added another two new 24 pax vessels with the same propulsion system to its fleet. The UK company now has 15 CTVs of 21m and 26m in its fleet, and one of its latest vessels will be available for demonstration sea trials at Seawork International trade show in Southampton.

Coral Ocean is one of the first original masterpieces of the stylist and interior designer, the late Jon Bannenberg, both in terms of her clean exterior line and her amazing Polynesian interior.

Coral Ocean was originally launched in 1994 and has been beautifully maintained throughout her life and has spent several winters up at Lürssen - lastly this last winter where certain areas have been changed and up-dated to conform to the rules as she will be for the first time available on the charter market.
